Profile: Christopher joined Gaby Hardwicke as a partner in 1998 and initially developed the firms Hastings residential property practice. He then moved to the Eastbourne office to head up that team. In 2004 he joined the newly created Board of Management and now heads the delivery of Residential Conveyancing Services for the whole firm. He plays an active part in the Management of the firm and the department as well as contributing to the local law societies of the towns in which Gaby Hardwicke practice. At Gaby Hardwicke Christopher is responsible for taking Conveyancing Services into the future and embraces the concept of eConveyancing. His team of conveyancers currently assist over 6000 people move home every year. His role in developing the business sees him travel the country to meet with leading players in the Conveyancing market. He also speaks regularly at conferences to members of the profession. He sits on the Executive Committee of the Law Society Property Section, is a member of the Direct Conveyancing Association and an affiliate member of the E-Home Buying Forum. On a local level, he is the Immediate Past President of the Eastbourne Law Society and has assisted in the development of the Local Conveyancing Protocol and has brought together lawyers and estate agents to lead the push towards Home Information Packs (HIPS).
